Typesetting
Our typesetters use your ideas and information to create a unique product design that meets your individual needs. PEC typesetters work on the Macintosh® OS platform and print to film from Adobe Illustrator®.
Plaque Artwork
Artwork, copy, and photos for plaques can be sent by mail or e-mail in the following file formats:
- Adobe Illustrator®
- EPS
- JPEG
Original images received by mail or e-mail can be in black and white or color. Your final product will have the best quality when created from your high-clarity artwork.
Laser Engraving and UV Flatbed Printing
Artwork, copy, and photos for these processes can be sent by mail or e-mail in the following file formats:
- Adobe Illustrator®
- CorelDRAW®
- EPS
- JPEG
- TIFF
These departments prefer file types from the Microsoft® Windows platform for the best reproduction on our products and equipment.
Please note: For UV flatbed printing, full-color artwork is accepted. For laser engraving, black and white or full-color artwork is accepted, but full-color artwork will result in extra charges to cover the conversion to a black and white format.
Sandcarving
Artwork, copy, and photos for sandcarving can be sent by mail or e-mail in the following file formats:
- Adobe Illustrator®
- EPS
- JPEG
Artwork that is not camera-ready can be reproduced for an additional charge. Once the design is completed, the art layout will be emailed for final approval. Upon receipt of the signed approval, we begin production of your order. If you are sending a large file, we recommend that you follow up with an e-mail or phone call to ensure that we have received your order.
