Over the years, Pella Engraving Company and JP Engraving of Elkhart, Indiana, have teamed up on a number of projects. “We first met the guys from Pella Engraving at a trade show in the nineties,” said Scott Mills, who has worked at JP Engraving for over 25 years. “They never fail to make us look good!”
Most recently, the Pella Engraving team assisted JP Engraving in completing a 16” x 22” magnesium plaque to commemorate the medical clinic of Bashor Children’s Home in Goshen, Indiana. Founded in 1922, Bashor Children’s Home is a non-profit child welfare agency allied with the United Methodist Church. The organization provides at-risk children and families with residential care, day treatment, alternative education, and foster care services. Bashor serves over 150 children and families each day.
The main focal points of the plaque for the Bashor medical clinic are the full-color logos of both Bashor Children’s Home and its partner agency, Goshen Health. “The clients wanted the color of their logos to really pop,” said Scott. “For this job, we knew that Pella Engraving’s flatbed color printing system would fit the bill.”
Using its Direct Color Systems® UV printer, PEC was able to reproduce the logos of both organizations in crisp, vibrant detail. “We mounted the plaque on finished black wood,” said Scott. “It looks really sharp. Pella Engraving always comes through!”
